Black Bolt price guide: Zekrom, Victini and the £153 Seismitoad
The Black Bolt Zekrom ex sells for about £414 in the UK, and a PSA 10 for over £1,000. Here are the chase cards from real UK sales, plus where UK buyers pay far less than Europe and the US.

Black Bolt is the Zekrom half of the two Unova sets, and its top cards are the black and white rares. The Zekrom ex black white rare (172) sells for about £414 raw in the UK, from 4 recent sales.
One of every card in the set adds up to about £2,600 on the European and US markets.
The chase cards
| Card | UK price (raw) | UK sales | Europe and US, in £ |
|---|---|---|---|
| Victini 171 (black white rare) | £464 | 5 | £414 |
| Zekrom ex 172 (black white rare) | £414 | 4 | £452 |
| Zekrom ex 166 | £198 | 4 | £231 |
| Seismitoad 105 | £153 | 10 | £336 |
| Volcarona 100 | £45 | 13 | £38 |
| Kyurem ex 165 | £39 | 6 | £58 |
The two black white rares are close. In the UK the Victini has edged ahead of the Zekrom, but with only 4 and 5 sales behind them, one sale can swap the order.
The Seismitoad gap
The Seismitoad illustration rare is the odd one. It sells for about £153 in the UK against about £336 abroad, and that UK price comes from 10 sales, so it isn't one cheap listing.
It's also the card where grading changes everything. PSA 10 copies have sold for about £1,231 in the UK, 8 times the raw price. That number rests on only 4 sales, and a multiple that big usually means 10s are hard to get. We cover that in our grading post.
PSA 10 prices
- Zekrom ex 172: about £1,035 from 7 UK sales.
- Victini 171: about £1,013 from 6 UK sales.
- Zekrom ex 166: about £294 from 13 UK sales, only about £100 over raw.
Sealed
A pair of Elite Trainer Boxes, one Black Bolt and one White Flare, sells for about £279 in the UK, from 11 recent sales. See the sealed page for the latest.
How we price these cards
UK prices are the middle of real eBay UK sold listings, cleaned of fakes, lots, graded copies and other languages. The Europe and US column is the middle of the Cardmarket and TCGplayer prices, in pounds. The card pages have today's numbers. Data, not financial advice.
