30th Celebration price guide: prices have dropped since release

A month after release, 29 cards from 30th Celebration are selling about 27% under their usual price. Here's what the Mew ex and the other chase cards really sell for in the UK.

30th Celebration came out on 16 September 2026. A month later, the clearest thing in our data is that prices are coming down. When we wrote this on 20 October, 29 cards from the set were in our Buy zone, which means their sales this week are well under their own usual price. For the big cards it's about 27 to 31% under.

That's normal for a new set once the first rush of buyers has been and gone. It's not a forecast. Prices can keep falling, or settle.

The chase cards, with UK sales

Card UK price (raw) UK sales vs usual
Mew ex 152 £77 12 about 27% under
Gengar ex 154 £64 16 about 27% under
Pikachu ex 150 £48 11 about 28% under
Pikachu ex 149 £44 14 about 29% under
Mewtwo ex 151 £41 17 about 27% under
Mewtwo ex 157 £36 17 about 31% under

The Mew ex special illustration rare leads, at around £77. The Gengar ex is the one people are trading most, alongside the two Mewtwos, with 16 and 17 UK sales each.

The Mew ex 158 is around £42 on the European and US markets, but we don't have enough UK sales of it yet to give a UK price.

The three Mew RGB cards

The most expensive cards in the set are three special Mew cards, the R, B and G versions, priced on the European and US markets at roughly £2,600, £2,200 and £1,950. We haven't seen enough clean UK sales of them to give a UK price, so treat those numbers carefully. They're rare, and a few sales either way move them a lot.

Is it a good time to buy?

We only describe what the sales show. When we wrote this, that was lots of the set selling under its usual price, all at once. If you were going to buy a few singles from 30th Celebration anyway, our card browser lists every card in the Buy zone, with the numbers behind it.

How we price these cards

UK prices are the middle of real eBay UK sold listings, cleaned of fakes, lots, graded copies and other languages. "Usual" means the card's own recent average, so a card in the Buy zone is cheap compared with itself, not with other cards.
